Chemical Peel Treatments
In office, chemical peel treatments provide excellent results in improving fine lines and wrinkles, poor skin tone and texture, enlarged poors, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. These treatments are simple and safe to perform with proper training. These non ablative, non aggressive modalities can treat many of your patients with a variety of skin disorders including Acne, Melasma, Actinic Keratoses, Rosea and a variety of many common epidermal conditions.
- Glycolic Acid Peel - For professional use only, this compound is available in 30%, (3.5 PH) or 35% (2.5 PH). One of the more common chemical peel treatments you may offer in your practice.
- Salicylic Acid - Available in 10% (3.5 PH) and 20% (2.5 PH) concentrations. These compounds are very effective in treating acne. Many of the acid peels must be performed under the supervision of a physician.
- Lactic Acid Peel – Also, for professional use only, this solution is available in 30% (3.0 PH) and 45% (1.5 PH). The stronger concentrations must all be administered under the supervision of a physician.
- Neutralizer – The sodium bicarbonate solution neutralizes both lactic and glycolic peeling agents.
